It's been a busy summer installing generators. We just finished a 24kw generator installation in Leavenworth. This generator will power our customer's entire house in the event of a power outage. How we accomplish that in larger homes is the use of Smart Management Modules or SMM's for short. This particular site has three Smart Management Devices. These devices work with your transfer switch, monitoring each selected circuit and automatically supplying power where it’s needed so you can get the most from your generator. Systems can have up to 8 devices installed and you get to set the load priority. It's an innovative solution when sizing whole house generators.
